Members do not hand you cash. The site runs on tokens, which viewers buy up front and spend on tips, private shows, photos and videos. The smallest package is 100 tokens for $10.99, and what Chaturbate tokens are worth shifts a little each year.

Models do not receive the full face value, because Chaturbate keeps its cut. In practice, each token you receive translates to $0.05. Everything on the platform is denominated in US dollars, including your balance and every payout threshold. What that becomes in pesos depends on the exchange rate the day your bank receives it, so get used to thinking in dollars first.

You need to verify your age, supply payment details, and sign an agreement. Chaturbate has to confirm that you, the payee, are over 18 and have electronically signed its performer agreement. From there you get two options: twice-monthly payouts or daily payouts. Both are covered below.

Ang Independent Broadcaster Verification

Before you can receive tokens, you have to finish Independent Broadcaster Verification. First, photograph an unexpired government-issued photo ID with your webcam or phone. Filipino broadcasters usually use a passport, a driver’s licence, the PhilSys national ID or a UMID. Expired IDs are rejected, and so is any ID whose name does not match what you will type on the payout form later.

Second, take a plain selfie-style photograph of your face inside the space provided. Finally, read the Chaturbate Independent Broadcaster Agreement and accept it.

Note: Every person who appears on camera must complete these steps individually. If someone on your page has not, you can lose your ability to earn tokens and may only get it back through the broadcaster account recovery steps.

• ACH Direct Deposit is US-only and Canada EFT is Canada-only. Ignore both.
• Cheques by USPS or FedEx do reach the Philippines, but delivery is measured in weeks and you then need a bank willing to clear a foreign cheque — another fee, another long wait. Most models here write these off.
• Wire Transfer works, but the minimum is high and that fee is charged before your own bank takes its cut.
• Bitcoin is fast and cheap on the platform side, but you then hold a volatile asset and still have to convert it through an exchange, with that exchange’s own fees and rate.
• Paxum and CosmoPayment are what most Filipino models actually use: low minimum, low platform fee, and both are built for the adult industry, so your account will not be closed for what you do.

Some broadcasters use ePayService as their wallet instead; the principle is identical.

Ang Dalawang Hakbang: Platform, Wallet, Tapos GCash o Bangko

Chaturbate does not send money to GCash. Chaturbate does not send money to Maya. If a video or a Facebook post tells you otherwise, that person is wrong — there is no GCash option on the payout form and there never has been. What happens instead is a two-step chain:

1. Step one — the platform pays out. Chaturbate sends your balance to one of its own supported destinations: a Paxum account, a CosmoPayment or ePayService wallet, a bank account by international wire transfer, a cheque, or a crypto wallet. That is where Chaturbate’s involvement ends.
2. Step two — you move it home. From that wallet or bank account you move the money to where you actually spend it: GCash, Maya, or a Philippine bank such as BDO, BPI, Metrobank or Union Bank. Depending on the wallet that means a withdrawal to your bank, a partner remittance service, or a prepaid card you use at an ATM.

Once the money sits in a local bank account, moving it into GCash or Maya is the easy part. Everything expensive happens in step one and in the crossing between the two.

The fee printed on Chaturbate’s payout table is not the whole cost. When dollars cross into the Philippine banking system, several parties take a slice:

• The sending fee charged by the platform or wallet.
• An intermediary or correspondent bank fee, deducted mid-route on a wire. Nobody warns you about this one, and it is the usual reason an amount arrives short.
• A receiving or inward remittance fee from your Philippine bank for accepting a foreign-currency credit.

On a large payout these are an annoyance; on a small one they are brutal. That is why cashing out less often usually leaves you better off, and why a low-fee e-wallet beats a wire until the amounts get serious.

Here is the cost nobody puts on an invoice. When your dollars land, your bank converts them at its own buying rate, not the mid-market rate you looked up online. That gap is a real cost, often larger than the transfer fee itself.

So never judge a payout method by its advertised fee — judge it by what appears in your account afterwards. And if you can hold a dollar account, you get to choose when to convert instead of being converted automatically on arrival. Ask your branch: the answer varies between BDO, BPI, Metrobank and Union Bank, and again by account type.

This is non-negotiable, and it is where the most painful mistakes happen.

The ‘Payable To/Beneficiary’ name on your payout form, the name on the ID you verified with, and the name on your Paxum wallet and receiving bank account must all be the same legal name. Banks and adult-industry wallets both run compliance checks, and a mismatch gets the payment rejected, returned or frozen. That rules out a few things Filipino models get pushed into:

• Using a boyfriend’s, sibling’s or parent’s account because you do not have one yet. Open your own.
• Letting a studio or recruiter receive your payout and hand you a share. Once it is in their name it is theirs in every practical sense.
• Registering a wallet under a nickname or your stage name. It has to be your legal name, exactly as printed on your ID.

Keep your GCash or Maya account fully verified and in your own name too.

Paano Gumagana ang Pay Periods

Each month splits into two periods: the 1st to the 15th, and the 16th to the end of the month. When a new period begins, Chaturbate starts processing the earnings from the one that just closed, aiming to send everything out within 7 business days after a pay period ends.

That window covers processing only. It excludes transit, and from the Philippines transit is the longer half of the wait. Factor in your method, the wallet’s own withdrawal schedule, your bank’s clearing time, and Philippine holidays, which are not the same as US ones.

Part 1 – Filling out the payment form

1. Complete 2-factor authentication to protect your account.
2. Fill out the Payment Information Form with your full legal name and address exactly as they appear on your ID.
3. Add an email for correspondence and payment notifications.
4. If your payments go through a company, enter those details under ‘Organisation Type’.
5. State the Philippines as your country and your citizenship accurately — the methods available differ by location.

Note: All broadcasters are independent contractors, not employees. Nobody withholds anything for you and no employer files anything on your behalf. What arrives in your account is gross.

Part 2 – Selecting your payment method

1. Complete the ‘Payable To/Beneficiary’ line with the full legal name on your bank account or wallet. Check it twice.
2. Choose your method. From the Philippines that realistically means Paxum, CosmoPayment, Bitcoin or wire transfer; you can switch later.
3. Read the terms and conditions at the bottom.
4. Type your full legal name into the ‘Digital Signature’ field. That is it, you are ready to get paid.

Buwis: Ang BIR at ang TIN Mo

Most guides written abroad talk about American tax forms that have nothing to do with you. As a Philippine resident, income you earn is generally taxable here even when a foreign platform pays it in foreign currency. Money arriving from Paxum or from a wire is income, not a gift, and Chaturbate being based abroad does not change that.

If you earn consistently, look into registering with the BIR as self-employed or as a professional, getting or activating your TIN, issuing the receipts your registration type requires, and filing on the quarterly and annual schedule that applies to you. Keeping your own record of every payout, fee and conversion is what makes that manageable.

I will not quote a rate, a bracket or a threshold, because those change and I am a cam model, not an accountant. Check the current figures with the BIR or a local accountant used to online freelancers.

Ano ang Daily Payout Program?

The Daily Payout Program lets broadcasters collect earnings sooner. US-based broadcasters must first complete two regular payouts; international broadcasters, which includes everyone here, need four, so expect your first few months to run on the normal twice-monthly schedule.

You also have to convert your tokens in the ‘Token Stats’ section. Once converted, the balance appears under ‘Available Amount’ and can be requested.

Daily payouts process on business days. Paxum lands within a day; checks, ACH and wire transfers go out the next business day. There is a $3.95 daily fee, and the minimum request is $20 for most methods, or $500 for wire transfers.

That $3.95 deserves thought: requested daily on small amounts it adds up fast, on top of what your wallet and bank charge later. Daily payouts are a cash-flow tool, not a saving.

Click your username at the top right, select ‘My Profile’, then open ‘Token Stats’ for the conversion options. Broadcasters working under a studio cannot convert tokens themselves, because studios receive the balance automatically each night — be very clear about that before you sign with one. Age verification is required before you can convert.

Converting does not trigger an instant payment unless you request a Daily Payout. Otherwise you are paid within 7 days of the pay period closing, so convert before the period ends.
